Kasten MD - Education and Classes

In order to serve you and our expanding practice, effective July 1, 2006 our employee Mary Anne (Mimi) Matter, LPN, IBCLC has been promoted to Obstetrical Nurse Coordinator. One of Mimi's primary duties is to meet with our OB patients to educate and discuss what to expect during their pregnancy journey. Her background as a Childbirth Instructor, Lactation Consultant, and over 20 years of knowledge in maternity care with Dr. Kasten makes Mimi a terrific resource throughout your pregnancy and beyond.

Please call Mimi at our office with any questions. Her scheduled work hours are as follows:
  • Mondays - 8:00 to 5:00
  • Wednesdays - 8:00 to 12:00 (noon)
  • Thursdays - 8:00 to 5:00

Breastfeeding Education Program

Educational program for mothers who choose to breastfeed their babies. For more information call extension 6110.

Breast Pump Rental Program

Program to assist breastfeeding mothers. For more information call extension 6110.

Child and Infant CPR

Prepares parents for childhood emergencies, including choking, and addresses child-proofing the home. For more information call extension 6325.

Childbirth Education

Comprehensive program that prepares parents-to-be for childbirth. For more information call extension 6110.

Infant Safety Seat Program

Safety seat rentals available for infants to six months of age or 20 pounds. For more information call extension 6356.

Motherwell Maternity Fitness

A fitness program for women in all stages of pregnancy or postpartum. For more information call extension 6110.

Pager Program for Birthing Partners

Pagers are available free of charge to birthing partners of women delivering at Fisher-Titus Medical Center. For more information call extension 6110.

Sibling Education
